Vice President, Global Corporate Services
Mr. Fitzgerald is responsible for managing the Information Technology, Facilities, Human Resources, and Administrative Services groups at Premier Research. Mr. Fitzgerald rejoined Premier Research in 2007 as the Vice President, Global Information Technology. Previously, Mr. Fitzgerald was the Executive Vice President, Operations at Advanced Clinical Research Services (ACRS), a company focused on the development and implementation of technology-enabled data management platforms, as well as serving as Vice President, Technology for Data Capture International, an early phase electronic data capture and services company. Prior to DCI, Mr. Fitzgerald was Vice President, Information Technology for Premier Research. During his three years tenure, he brought the physical network, computer system validation and regulatory affairs to an enterprise class level, enabling additional services and secure data accessibility for clients. Mr. Fitzgerald also worked extensively in building process-oriented project management systems for all aspects of biometrics analysis. Prior to this, Mr. Fitzgerald worked in the information technology field for 14 years in the military and commercial sectors. While in the Army he served as aide to the U.S. Army CIO as well as honed his network security skills while working on the Joint Chiefs of Staff Classified Network. His commercial sector experience includes managing Dell Computer Corporation's Defense Systems Technical Consulting team, where he was integrally involved in designing many of the critical defense computer networks in use today in the military. Mr. Fitzgerald received his BS degree in Chemistry from Davidson College in North Carolina.
