Krista Armstrong, PhD
Vice President, Global Clinical Trial Management

Dr. Armstrong is responsible for strategic leadership, development of standards, systems, processes and training for the both clinical project management and clinical monitoring functions at Premier Research. Dr. Armstrong has more than 14 years of clinical research experience that encompasses both academia and the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Armstrong's academic research experience has provided her the opportunity to participate in clinical research as a study coordinator and research associate for lead investigators on Phase 1–4 trials, including pk/pd studies, focusing in the area of degenerative brain disorders. Her industry experience includes Phase 1–4 trials, including pk/pd studies, across multiple therapeutic areas but with a specific focus in CNS, oncology and a specialty in pediatric/adolescent studies.  Dr. Armstrong has coordinated the submission of multiple NDAs while at Premier Research and has been involved with Adaptive Design studies as well as writing and coordinating DMC/DSMB Charters. She has held positions of increasing responsibility within clinical operations further diversifying her clinical research experience through the positions of CRA, Regional CRA Manager, Project Manager and Director. Dr. Armstrong received her doctorate in neuroscience from the University of Florida.
