Dermatology Several skin injuries and disorders result from problems in the skin’s self-renewal system which includes unusual growths and tumors. These conditions may also result from underlying deficiencies or disorders in other therapeutic areas such as infectious disease, allergy/ immunology and oncology. Premier Research recognizes the need for increased clinical research in the therapeutic area of dermatology and continues to broaden our experience.
Infectious Diease The clinical development for products for infectious diseases is an increasingly competitive area. Premier Research recognizes the importance of rapid clinical development without comprising quality which, in turn, necessitates identification of a large number of centers of clinical excellence. To achieve this, Premier Research has established a broad base of investigative centers around the world.
Premier Research project team members have extensive clinical experience and training in infectious disease studies involving antivirals, antibiotics and antifungal compounds. Premier Research has completed research studies of antimicrobial agents, immunosuppression agents, and antiviral compounds and devices, involving thousands of both inpatient and outpatient subjects.
Respiratory Premier Research has supplied services to companies specialized in the investigation and development of drugs treating a range of respiratory conditions, such as allergic rhinitis, asthma, bronchitis and COPD. Our PPA process allows Premier Research to manage and effectively complete groups of like-designed studies which support rapid drug development. For example, in 2005 Premier Research completed data entry, query resolution, and database lock for 9 studies in 11 weeks with statistical analysis and final study report issuance of all 9 studies within 5 weeks of the last database locked, all to support critical client submission deadlines. For this therapeutic area, 100% of our sponsors have returned to Premier Research for additional work.
