Dr. Jasper is from the Houston, Texas area. He attended Oral Roberts University where he studied biology and chemistry. He received his DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1982. He then spent one year in private dental practice in his hometown of Cleveland, Texas and one year as a member of a medical team to Asian Refugees in Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia. He completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Connecticut Health Science Center in 1988. He maintains a full scope practice including maxillofacial trauma, pathology, dentoalveolar surgery, comprehensive implant surgery and orthognathic (reconstructive jaw) surgery.
Dr. Jasper is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is active in clinical research that evaluates investigational pain medication following the removal of wisdom teeth. He has been involved in more than 100 clinical studies.
