Dr. Schiffgen received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1978 from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. In 1980, he completed his residency at Franklin Boulevard Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Schiffgen is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has experience in all aspects of foot care including orthopedic trauma, sports medicine and bunion and hammertoe correction.
